Providers who match the project criteria are alerted of the lead to find out if they are interested to provide a quote for the project.

Interested providers, then purchase the project lead. At that point, both provider and project owner are given access to the others profile information. The provider can bid on the information provided or can contact the project owner  to schedule an appointment if needed.

Once a provider has been awarded the project and performs the work, the project owner will return to the site to show a record of who was awarded the project.  They may rate and review the providers who worked on the project. Once posted, these reviews and testimonials will be visible on the providers profile for all future project owners to view.

How does WorkQuote’s matching system work?

WorkQuote.com uses the project owner project information and the providers Project Leads criteria to match project owners with providers. Providers will receive project leads that suit the category and budget of work they are interested in. The providers can then choose to bid on the projects they are interested in. The efficiency of the matching system is what makes WorkQuote such a valuable tool for home and business owners and contactors alike.

What is the set up process? Is there a charge?

The set up process is simple and only takes a few minutes. Fill out your basic
information and create your projects lead search.  You can also set up your
provider showcase by filling out all the simple web forms, add your logo,
and any portfolio photos.  You will then get an email from us asking you to click on a link
and activate your account.  Once you are active, we will credit your account
with 5 FREE leads (worth $25.00).

There is no set up fee.

Where would a project owner find WorkQuote?

WorkQuote advertises in Google, Yahoo, MSN, Craigslist, Direct Mail, Email
Marketing, Word of Mouth, Telemarketing, etc. Our ads are your ads!

Do you offer advertising on your site?

The Product and Services Directory is the only "advertising" option we offer for providers.
We do not encourage providers to purchase banner ads and other traditional internet
advertising because it favors bigger companies with larger ad budgets thereby overshadowing
our other providers.

Our products and services directory is a searchable “yellow-page” style listing of all our network providers.  Your provider profile will include details such as address, telephone numbers, website, project owner testimonials, logo, portfolio photos, professional associations and other relevant information.

How does the Premier Listing work?

A Premier listing allows your profile to be displayed at the top of all search results.  You listing will include your banner logo, ad content, and optional coupons.   This provides higher visibility for your company profile and more contact from interested project owners.

How does the Deluxe Listing work?

A featured listing allows your profile to be displayed after premier listings in search results.  You listing will include your your banner logo... This provides higher visibility for your company profile and more contact from interested project owners.

How does the Basic Listing work?

The basic listing allows your profile to be displayed after all the deluxe listings.  This listing is a cost-effective way to generate good visibility for your company and get contacted by interested project owners.

How is my Search Area Set?

Our directory is built to ensure that you are only contacted by project owners who are located in YOUR local area. You can control your own visibility by specifying your work area radius for leads as well as for the directory.  This ensures that you will not be overwhelmed by telephone calls from project owners outside your interest area.

What are ratings and testimonials?

Every time a home or business owner awards a project, they are invited back to the site to rate and review the performance of their provider. The rating consists of feedback on the providers performance during the project. All ratings are combined for a provider to give them an overall provider rating. The project owner may also wish to leave a testimonial statement to praise the work of the provider or warn future project owners about the problems they had with the provider.

How can a home/business owner rate a provider?

A home or business owner can go to their Project Tools area to provide feedback on the provider they wish to rate and review. From here they will be able to provide feedback on the provider they awarded their project to, evaluate the providers performance and then leave a testimonial review for future project owners to read.

What happens if there is a rating/testimonial dispute?

In order for our system to work WorkQuote.com must remain an impartial 3rd party. In the event that a provider has a dispute with a rating or testimonial left by a project owner, WorkQuote will review the case by contacting both parties and making a judgment that is fair to them and all future project owners.

We are also implementing a new feature which will allow our providers to leave a comment for any testimonial which they deem deserves a response.

What kind of memberships does WorkQuote offer?

We offer 2 different memberships. One for Providers and one for Project owners. Both Memberships are FREE.

How much does a membership cost?

Membership for project owners and providers is FREE.

What happens if a provider is too busy to take on any new business?

A provider can change the status of the project leads to disabled at any time by going to their Project Tools area and changing their status. You will not receive any new lead information by email until their status if returned to active.

What is My Showcase?

My Showcase is a utility designed to help our members build a professional website quickly and easily with no prior experience in web design. You can easily build a page showing your skills and showcasing your projects and experience.

Users will be able to see your site so make sure to display your skills to get an advantage over the competion.  Tou can even list the website address on your business material for customers to come and review it.  A free hosted website, courtesy of WorkQuote.

How do I update or edit my profile?

In order to update the information in your profile, you must log into your account and go to the Profile data on the left side of the page. When you have finished editing that information, just click the submit button to save it.

Who will see my personal information?

Only the customers who have awarded you a project will receive your personal email information.

We do not sell your information to ANYONE.

STEP 1 - Providers, register your company and create your online profile with us.  Set up your project leads and configure your showcase pages.

STEP 2 - When project owners search the internet and find WorkQuote in any of the major search engines such as Google, Yahoo and MSN they will have the option to submit their projects online or to search our directory.  You will receive a projects lead email when a project is listed that meets your criteria.

STEP 3 - If you are interested in the project, purchase the lead and proceed to submit an online bid on the project.  You will recieve the project owners contact information and can contact them if needed.

STEP 4 - The project owner will then award the project to the provider that best fits their needs. 

STEP 5 - The project owner can then rate and review the winning providers WorkQuote profile and provide testimonials for your future customer. 

 
Our system works on a credit basis. 

You will only pay a fee for the projects that YOU decide to bid on.

Each bid cost will be in the range of  $5.00 to $30.00, depending on the project.

You can purchase lead credits one at a time or as a pack of 10. Below are our lead prices and options:

* Free lead credit for leads under $500 in stated budget.

* Free lead credit for leads that are going to expire.

* Lead credits never expire.

What do the different status levels mean for each project lead?

Free - Project is free to bid on.
Available - Project bid limit has not been reached and you are able to bid.

How many providers can apply for 1 project?

Up to 5 providers can compete for the same project lead. We allow the project owner to select the number of estimates that will be accepted, while at the same time giving our providers a good chance of winning many of the projects they are interested in.

Is there are screening process for the project owners?

We call the project owners and verify their contact information. However, there are times when we do not get in touch and play phone tag for a while but we still DO release the lead to our providers.  If there are any problems with any of the project owners, we rely on our providers to send us an email and let us know if the project owner never called back or was not serious about the project.  We then refund the lead credits for that provider.

If a provider receives a  lead email, and he/she decides they don't want it, do you charge them for the lead anyway?

No. We have NO membership fees or any other fees. Each time you
receive a lead, you have to decide on your own whether it is something you are
interested in taking on.  You can search for leads in your area or anywhere
else in the country. Then log into your WorkQuote account and submit a bid on the lead you want. We
will then subtract the lead cost from your account.

If a provider takes a lead but the project owner is no longer interested, do you charge them for the lead or can they get a refund?

Any time a lead has either been closed or is poorly represented by the project owner, we credit the provider's account replacing the lead.  We will follow up with the project owner to validate the situation, but will almost always side with our providers.

Can you narrow down the leads a provider gets by the towns they work in?

We do not go by towns.  We go by zip code and mile radius. So if
you only want to receive roofing leads 20 miles from this zip 95003, you will
only be notified of those projects regardless of what particular town they are
located in.

What if most of the work a provider does is between 100 and 500 dollars. They cannot afford to pay for leads if they cost $10.00.

No worries! If any leads come into our system with a specified budget of UNDER $500, THEY ARE FREE!

So, if you are a house cleaning professional, or hanymen, or lawn mowing comapny or debris removal specialist, all your leads would be FREE!!
